Yamaha Mechanical Access Port Riser

  • Sale
  • Regular price $101.99

Add vertical height to the location of your clean out port compartment's mechanical access port.

Adding this custom "STARBOARD" CNC fabricated riser will raise your boat's mechanical access port 3/4" above the deck.

Raising the access port up off the deck has the effect of keeping the bilge free from water intrusion that could be leaking from around the gasket or edge of the access port's frame.

Fits: All Yamaha Jet Boats From 2010-Current (verify that your boat's access port dimensions are 8.5" X  15 3/8" before ordering)

Installs using minimum tools and hardware. Allow 30 minutes for complete installation plus silicone cure time.

See install guide for installation instructions.

I was getting a lot of water in my engine compartment under high rpm’s. I found out the water was coming from clean outs filling up. I re siliconed the bottom plate and added this riser. I now have no more water. This product worked perfect. I would recommend this to anyone even if you don’t get water it could save you.

Access port install

Product is a great option to help with water accessing your bilge, when coming off plane or when launching the boat.

Access port riser

Easy install and leak free. This product should be a factory install on new boats. As always Jetboat Pilot wins again.

Riser did NOT make a difference

I noticed a smaller amount of water within the port clean out area after installing the riser. Water coming out of the hull through the rear drainage plug after a day on the lake is the same amount that was observed prior to riser installation. In my opinion, buying the riser is not worth the money.

I have come to the conclusion that Yamaha boats just collect water in the low point of the boat. We have to live with this and should always carry a manual pump in case the bilge fails.
