Replace this sacrificial anode every season if you're a salt water boater and you do not have the ability to flush your engines after each use, such as when your boat is stored in a marina and the crew that stores your boat is not very familiar with Yamaha flush procedure.

The anode and spark plugs were at a decent price and as described. Only negative was the shipping was very slow.Almost a week (6 days) and I live in Florida. I know that's not really something the shipper can control.
