They work but scratched my hull. 222xd

I’m going to start by saying Jet Boat Pilot is a great business and sell good products. The bunk slides did work but the scratches they left on the hull were enough for me to remove them after two uses. I used silicone on bunk carpet and just accepted that these boats are harder to load/ unload than the boats I have had in the past.

Damaging hull on my 255 FSH

Im going to have to remove these as there are clear signs wear and streaking on my 255FSH hull after 4 launches. While this does make launching easier, you have to leave the bow winch attached until just before hitting the water, otherwise the boat will slide back to the end of the winch strap. It wants to move off of the trailer before allowing the boat to fully float, causing rubbing against the plastic bunkslides. I would recommend changing your launching procedures before installing this item. These will unfortunately have to go in the trash as I don't think they can be returned with all of the white residue on them now.

255 FSH- Big improvement in loading and unloading

I was only able to install 4 of the bunk slide on my shorelander traier for the 255FSH before the battery on my impact drive died. With only 4 installed, there was a noticable difference in how easy the boat comes off of the trailer. Do not unhook the bow strap until the boat ius in the water. My conceern is that you have to keep the boat and trailer shallower than you would without the bunk slides. If not, the boat will come off of the bunks until the bow winch unrolls to the stop. However, with the shallower draft at launch, I am concernd about the wear that the slids are putting on the hull/gel coat. Time will tell and I will update this review. But 4 of the 10 slides installed was more than enough.
