Does Not Fit

The top bracket fit fine but the bottom would not fit. There was not enough clearance for the bottom bracket and bottom rail to fit properly. I could only use the top bracket so now I am probably going to have to buy the locking device to keep the gate from swinging open.

Extremely simple installation. Great addition to the boat.

Why wasn't this on the boat from the factory? The installation went flawlessly. If you have a heat gun handy, it will make your life a little easier, as the provided brackets are quite snug. A little heat makes them easier to install.

I feel a bit duped

The very day I received my rear gate kit, I learned that there was a new and improved version. I learned this from a new YouTube video posted by JetBoatPilot. I wrote and asked if mine was the new and improved version. Nope, but I could pay shipping to send it back. Happy to send me the improved version, of course paying for additional shipping. I’m a big fan of JBP. But I’m not happy with this situation the more I think about it.
