I’m not sure why Sea-Doo didn’t have this door installed at the factory but it’s a game changer to access the swim platform. A MUST HAVE!!!
Excellent product to take a factory feature "locked" behind the Switch Cruise design and use it to allow better access from the rear/swim platform. We use this to let our medium sized dogs on and off board when side docked and it is just as easy for them to board as from the front. Also useful for elderly or less mobile people. We chose to put on the port side because we usually dock starboard, so the gate swings out to the open and is opposite of the boarding ladder when underway. For configuration on our 18', we removed the port-aft wedge and moved the two port bench seats forward 1 tile. This allows the removable table to attached between the forward and aft port benches but gives plenty of space to board. We lost a little cargo space, and Linq tile moved to in front of the console to be functional.
