the bumpers look good and are simple to install. if you are planning to park your switch with the front end facing the dock (as it was designed to ), these bumpers are a must-have item. $40 bucks will protect your boat nose from damage that will occur from rubbing against the dock. As you and your friends board and disembark the boat, it will rise and fall due to each person's weight. this creates a filing/grinding effect on the front of the two outer pontoons. it will absolutely scratch, gouge, or crack the hose over a short time. I did install these bumpers and I wish I could post pictures of them. the left side has a chunk taken out of the bumper, that would have been the pontoon. both bumpers are scared up a little, again bumpers, not the boat. when they get too bad, I will tear them off and replace them with new ones. I'm into my boat for about $40,000 with taxes and some upgrades, and I would prefer it stay looking new for as long as possible. and for forty bucks, they are a no-brainer.
