I recently purchased a YAMAHA 255 FSH through JBP’s Consigned Boat Program. Before I comment on the Lateral Thruster system let me say this: Knowing that Will Owen and his JBP team had put the boat through a very thorough inspection process gave me complete confidence that I was getting a solid boat I could trust. The boat was already equipped with JBP Thrust Vectors but we added the Lateral Thruster system to help ensure the boat could be safely backed into a very tight slip and properly onto its lift. The Lateral Thrusters allow the boat to be spun on its axis like a stake has been driven through the center of the boat and then backed directly into the slip without ever touching the pylons. It is as easy as maneuvering any outboard or inboard/outboard prop boat I’ve ever owned. I highly recommend the JBP system!
